Awesome your a writer? What genre? I write a little bit too but mainly short stories for my friends but they aren’t that great though.

I agree that wishing death of Miley is an extreme and very immature. No one deserves to die a horrendous death and saying so is very extreme and unnerving.

And about the grammar thing, I am no grammar nazi, but still. Typing words out fully shows you care about what you are saying. It looks more impressive. And if you want to debate on anything (ei- Whether or not Miley is “cool”) then typing well is important. I am not one to fuss over a missed colon mark or anything. But I just cannot take anyone seriously that types “lik dis”.

And paid or not, it is important that celebs like Miley portray an image and she chose an image that while, no, is not filled with drugs (yet), she has literally dumbed herself down.. constantly reiterating disney channel garbage in interviews that sounds like it was read from a hallmark card. This not only dumbs down her image, but her fans as well.

There is nothing wrong with inspiring hope but hope is something that comes from being at the bottom and making it to the top. Miley has never been at the bottom. Her dad and her millions of dollars she has had since birth has always been there. Her songs are merely words on a paper for her to sing. She is rich, famous and pretty. So no, there is nothing wrong with inspiring hope, but I would rather hear it from someone who knows and has been through what they are singing about. Otherwise, it has absolutely no meaning.

And no, I avoid Miley crap like the plaque. But it IS a concern to me because this new generation is important as they will begin to move into the world. It pains me to see that some are being influenced by this senseless, meaningless garbage that plays now. Everything has become meaningless on tv… instead of seeing heartwarming tales of friendship and love, this crap is about cocky, sarcastic teenagers. Adults in these shows (like Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana) are shown as dim-witted second citizens that get disregarded and ruled over by their annoying-sounding, overly-sarcastic teenage kids. Its all crap, really. And all meaning is missing. It is truly sad to me.

And my last point is there is nothing wrong with liking her. But considering her a “role model” or someone to look up to is like putting a gun in the hand of a toddler. Like I said above, look up to someone who EARNED their career and worked for their riches.

I do not look up to nor respect people like Miley Cyrus or Paris Hilton. (I respect the fact they are people, but in no other way as far as their career goes) They did not earn their way in. They had rich and famous parents to be a net and hand up for them.

I respect self-made millionaires. The ones who started out with nothing more than a dime in their pocket and busted their ass to make it. That is who I see as a role-model. Because these people who earned their living know what it takes to make it. They are like me and millions of others who don’t have rich and famous parents to get us there. If I want to “be famous” or be successful, these are the people I look to.

If I was to publish my novel (hopefully soon) and hit bestseller lists like J.K. Rowling (My personal hero, google how she started out and you will see why) then I would gladly tell people the same as I have said here. I know what the bottom looks like. I do not believe the fake and phony pop image these kids have nowadays. I believe you should always be open and honest, even if the truth is ugly sometimes… even if people hate you for it. I would rather be known for brilliance, not looks or how “cool” I dress. Or how cool and new my cell phone is. Or for wearing a new 800 dollar dress. These kids in Hollywood need to learn what life is truly about but sadly, they will never know.

The only way to change this is to change how hollywood operates. Instead of making it barely possible for anyone to make it unless they already have a gazillion dollars or famous families with thousands of connections, they should make it easier for average people to get in. Why do you think independent films are better sometimes than hollywood crap? Because they don’t have overpaid actors sucking up their budget. They hire on people who are starting out and are nobodies… Look at Paranormal Activity! And many others actually. Hollywood is crap compared to some of these independent films. No big explosions and fake CGI crap. No over the top dialouge and cliche and overused plotlines. Independent films are raw and original.

Originality is hollywood does not exist.
