He Is Legend seem to have been plagued with problems ever since the conception of Suck Out The Poison back in 2006 with news of break-ups and hiatus’s, only to have them comeback and release the album. There is a lot of uncertainty and doubt, and this also happened with It Hates You.

It Hates You seems to successfully manage to combine southern rock with melodic elements and catchy bass lines. It’s kind of dark, but also upbeat at the same time.

It has a very Suck Out The Poison type feel to it, with some songs sadly feeling incomplete and like they consist of recycled guitar riffs from Suck Out The Poison.

The vocals however could have been a bit better. Vocalist Schuylar Croom no longer seems to scream like he did in previous albums, and now seems to use raspy deep singing instead.

This album is annoying at times, and great at other times. Some tracks seem to generate the feeling of being rushed, or like they’re simply filler tracks. You can hear this by comparing tracks such as; Don’t Touch That Dial and Party Time!!!.

The diva type vocals in some of the songs that were also on Suck Out The Poison (but not the same person) seem to have made a comeback. They sure do love adding ‘oooh, whoaaaa, ohhhhh’ into their songs in the background.

A lot of the songs on this album, I’d say about 70% don’t really have any playback worthiness to them. Which is sad, because I really did like this bands previous material.

If they manage to stay together, I’m sure their next album will be better no doubt.

Some of the stand-out tracks on this album are; Futures Bright, Man. Dicephalous.  Everyone I Know Has Fangs.

Upon first listen, whoa… what the fuck is this shit, seriously? this album blows more than Monica Lewinksi underneath a presidential desk, it’s literally a jizz fest. As the album goes on and on you sit there hoping that the album gets funnier, well it doesn’t. The funny just never comes, it never comes.

The title of this album is strangely accurate in describing the album ‘Incredibad’. Because that is what it is, incredibly fucking bad. The only use this album has is a weapon,ability to incite rage and make you hack your family up with a meat cleaver or a prize in a pass the parcel at an 8th birthday party.

The entire album is full of wannabe rap parody tracks which are half-assed and badly done. Even though they hauled in an impressive amount of guests to star on different shit filled tracks which will no doubt destroy their careers, the album manages to make me want to projectile vomit on orphan children. I don’t know how they managed to get Justin Timberlake, T-Pain and even Jack Black to guest star on this album.

From lame songs about liking sports to even lamer songs about being 13 years old and having sex with aliens, you can tell this album was rushed and absolutely fucking unfunny. There is nothing funny about white guys trying to rap. Nor is there anything about white guys trying to make fun of rap. Seriously is that the best they could come up with?

This album is pure epic fail. The lyrics are bad. The vocals (if you can call them vocals..) are so fucking bad that you could use this album to torture terrorists. This is probably the most disappointing thing I have ever downloaded from the Internet since Windows Vista.

I think these guys should stick to what they know, sucking dicks in dark alleyways for small change and spreading their AIDS and anal diseases. Music is definitely not their foray.

If you want a copy of this and don’t want to waste your download bandwidth, give it one month and you could probably pick this album up in your local record stores bargain bin for $0.50c.

I give this album a -5 out of 10. And yes, that is a minus, this album isn’t good enough for a zero rating.
