I am 100% onboard with Bubbles being described as a self
absorbed douchbag who thinks he’s funny but is just a cheesy
crooner with a bad haircut who expostulates words-without-
substance and does so in offkey-monotones, absolutely, but
referring to Canada as “America’s Wastebasket” was a real
*CheaP ShoT* and worthy of both of his angry limp fists. It’s
hard enough on Canada that he is *from* here, but it is
inconsequential. Don’t you know how large a country this is?
You could scrape together all of the islands and territories
that make up Australia and the entire mess would ALL fit
inside the borders of Canada with plenty of room to spare.
There are lots of intelligent people living here who have never even heard of Michael Buble (we call them “the lucky
ones”). As for all the testosterone-laced commentary from
both Buble and others, be careful, or I just may come around and *bitch-slap* the lot of you siLLy!

Buble reminds me of a forgotten singer from the early 90′s by the name of Jon Secada. Jon was a pretty boy with limited talent, and he based his career on swooning females. We all know how that ended. And if you’ve never heard of Jon Secada, then you’ve reinforced my point.

Getting back to Buble, while his voice is bearable, it’s also extremely monotone. He’s simply not a good singer by any musical standard. He’s just another pretty boy being marketed to a specific segment of the public. In ten years no one will remember him.

And regarding his comments, it would appear that he’s also a bit of a self-absorbed douchebag.

I don’t want to burst his bubble, but can someone please tell Mr Buble we are in the year 2009 and not the 50s? How about writing some modern music instead of old rehash from the cheesy era? Plus I find his voice irritating and whiney. He sounds just like my Grandma in the morning after misplacing her dentures.
